MTN Resource Energy Network Forum invite.

Welcome to the first event held by MTN, Resource Energy Network Forum. Our industry is currently undergoing a seismic shift, marked by significant changes and advancements. Emerging sectors such as secondary batteries are rapidly rising as major industries, while established sectors like semiconductors, automobiles, shipbuilding, and steel are calling for transformative measures. Central to these demands is the replacement of "energy sources and critical natural minerals." This evolving landscape has also led to transformations in our external collaborations. Among the countries that can forge win-win relationships with the Republic of Korea in terms of security and diplomacy, Australia stands out in this dynamic and rapidly changing process. In response, MTN is dedicated to focusing on Australia's abundant natural resources and clean energy solutions, aiming to bolster Korea's economic security. Our goal is to provide a platform for Korean companies to explore diverse strategies to mitigate uncertainty. We cordially invite you to show your interest and participation in this forum.

MTN Resource Energy Network Forum invite.

Our economy is currently facing two major challenges: bloc formation represented by the U.S.-China hegemonic war and achieving carbon neutrality to overcome the climate crisis.

In this context, what we need most is a reliable international cooperation partner with similar economic goals and the potential to create synergy when collaborating.

One such partner is Australia.

Following last year, MTN Money Today Broadcasting has again selected Australia as the most reliable partner for carbon neutrality this year. Australia plays a key role in the supply chain for the green economy, including secondary batteries, and is simultaneously emerging as the world's largest hydrogen producer. Through our partnership with Australia, we aim to explore the 'Going Green' strategy for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

We ask for your keen interest and participation.

Forum Introduction

One of the core contents of recent bills that have attracted worldwide attention, such as the IRA of the United States and the CRMA of Europe, is the "supply chain." The area where it would become key to this supply chain is Australia. Australia, known as a world-renowned mineral resource holder, aims to dominate the resource competition as a core mineral strategy, and presents three major goals: promoting investment in key minerals, attracting and expanding R&D support for technological innovation, and enlarging related infrastructure. In fact, POSCO in Korea is also engaged in various projects in Australia, such as securing lithium and iron ore, which is not well known to investors and viewers. Therefore, MTN is holding the first Resource Energy Network Forum with the Australian Embassy to diversify its supply chain and consolidate its partnership with Australia, along with strategic stockpiles of mineral resources.
